If you don’t feel like baking but would like to make some creamy delicacy, try this recipe. It’s extremely creamy and chocolatey.
- 1 packet of cocoa sponge flans (4 layers)
- 1 litre milk
- 100 g edible starch
- 4 tbsp sugar
- 150 g white chocolate
- 250 g butter
For the chocolate cream:
- 200 g milk chocolate
- 5 tbsp milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 150 g butter
No need to turn on the oven – this time you won’t need it. Mix the starch with 4 tablespoons of sugar and add a cup of milk while stirring constantly to keep the mixture smooth. Heat the remaining milk and add the white chocolate broken into chunks. When it starts boiling, reduce the heat to low and pour the starch mixture into it while stirring constantly to avoid sticking. Set aside to cool at room temperature. Mix the butter with the remaining sugar until creamy. Add it to the boiled cream spoon by spoon once it’s cooled.
For the chocolate cream, put all ingredients into a bowl and place it over a pot of simmering water or in a double boiler to melt. Stir until creamy and set aside to cool. Once it’s cold, stir it thoroughly again.
And now it’s time to assemble the cake. One layer of sponge flan topped with one layer of milk cream and one layer of chocolate cream. Repeat it four times.
